Morrison Academy Taipei

Our 10th graders and their fearless leaders once again conquered the highest peak in Taiwan, Jade Mountain! We are proud of the perseverance and tenacity they showed in this achievement. They were rewarded with good weather and clear views as they enjoyed the majesty of God’s creation. Well done, sophomores, and big kudos to Mr. Sawyer and the rest of the chaperones for leading the way! #jademountain #yushan ⛰🎒🥾 ... See MoreSee Less

Quite awesome 👏!

How wonderful! Mr. Terry McGill and Mrs. McGill took us up there when he taught at Bethany/Morrison Academy Taipei too when we were in 8th grade. What a great experience!

There were more teams at this year’s competition than ever before. Morrison Taipei had four teams in the Junior Division and three teams in the Senior Division, including one team from 8th grade. Morrison Academy Taipei

Please join us in celebrating Dr. Bonnie McGill’s life and in praying for the McGill family. After a brief time in the hospital, Bonnie McGill went home to be with Jesus on April 2nd, 2019. Bonnie and her husband Tim spent her last 6 weeks of life choosing joy and seeking to trust God. As she demonstrated throughout her life, her focus was on God all the way to the end. She will be missed by her family, friends, many alumni, and Morrison staff from many decades. Bonnie moved to Taiwan in 1980. Tim and Bonnie were dorm parents for many years molding the lives of young students. Bonnie also worked as the Director of Boarding and became a world expert in running a homelike, Christian boarding program. She spent her last years as the Director of Human Services and was involved in recruiting new staff and member care for all staff. Dr. Bonnie McGill was an expert in transition issues especially related to living overseas as an accompanying spouse. She often organized events and led sessions to help families adjust to living in Taiwan. Bonnie was known for always following God even if it meant doing hard things. Her godly example will continue to inspire those who knew her. **If you have a special photo of Bonnie that you would like to share, please add it in the comments. I think we will see numerous glimpses of the way she interacted with us and impacted our lives individually.** ... See MoreSee Less
